What is W3Schools?

W3Schools is a web-based online tutorial resource that provides tutorials and references for web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, PHP and others. It was created by Refsnes Data in Norway and has been helping designers and developers learn web technologies since 1998.

The site is organized into different sections with each focusing on a specific technology. It also includes information on server-side technologies like ASP.NET, Python and popular libraries like jQuery and Bootstrap. The content is created using educational tutorials with detailed screenshots and code snippets to illustrate the techniques being taught. There are also interactive tools available which allow users to test out their code without having to use their own environment setup.

One of the best parts of W3Schools is its vast library of reference manuals which cover almost every aspect of web development from basic HTML tags to more advanced areas like AJAX requests. These documents are great for quickly finding answers to coding problems or looking up quick facts on the syntax of a language you may not be familiar with yet. The reference manuals have additional features such as search capabilities, along with "Try it yourself" sections which encourage active learning.

Finally, W3Schools offers certifications in various topics related to web design which include HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript (all three together), as well as NodeJS, AngularJS and React.js (all three together again). Users can choose from a variety of tests to obtain an online certificate that showcases their skills in each area. Certifications will not only demonstrate knowledge but also help boost credibility among employers or potential clients who are looking for qualified individuals or companies able to handle their technological needs accurately – making them a great tool for job seekers or freelancers looking for work in the tech sector.
